This is sneak peek of the behind the scenes work I do each day. There is a ton of trial and error, risk taking, experimentation, failure and revisions. I love it!
“I have been teaching in the seaside town of Scituate, Massachusetts for the past 14 years, where I have had the privilege of working alongside dream team colleagues and hilarious, grateful talented and motivated teenagers.
A typical day involves tapping into their parents' old iPods and listening to the best sounds of 90s music, transforming mud into fabulous sculptures, and laughing often.
As a visual arts instructor, I teach several foundation courses as well as beginner through advanced 3-D Sculpture courses.
Side note: My incredible Tetris skills have served as a bonus when loading the kilns two times a week for 300 students a year. :p
