For nearly two decades, she has called Boston her home, dedicating herself to the fields of ceramics, sculpture, photography, and art education. Sheryl holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography and a Master of Science in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She is also a certified visual arts instructor for pre-school through twelfth grade, currently marking her fourteenth year teaching at Scituate High School. Since launching her freelance photography business in 2001, Sheryl has passionately pursued her artistic and professional interests in photography. Her recent work in medium format photography explores themes of feminism and womanhood, particularly through documenting the practice of extended breastfeeding. These projects employ documentary strategies to visually capture and present diverse women exercising their choices in child development. Sheryl Pace's artwork has been featured in numerous prestigious exhibition venues, including The Copley Society of Art, McCormack and Scanlon, The Washington Art Center, Lincoln Arts Project, Montserrat College of Art, The Distillery, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and The Robert Klein Gallery.
